Define the automation cell's requirements, including part dimensions, weld specifications, cycle times and safety constraints

System Design & Simulation

Detailed CAD models and robotic simulations validate layouts, tooling and fixture designs

Controls & Integration

Electrical and software architecture is designed, specifying PLCs, sensors and communication protocols

Procurement of Materials

Robots, welding equipment, fixtures, sensors and safety systems are sourced from suppliers

Fabrication & Assembly

Custom fixtures, worktables and enclosures are fabricated, welded and assembled; mechanical components are installed, including robot mounts, conveyors and safety barriers

Electrical

Wiring, control panels and pneumatic systems are installed and integrated

Programming & Testing

System Calibration

Robots, sensors and welding equipment are calibrated via advanced programming to ensure precise positioning, welding parameters and motion control

Dry Runs & Cycle Testing

Cycle is run to validate robot motion paths, fixture alignment and collision avoidance

Customer Run-Off

Customer visits AIG facility; sample processes are performed to ensure quality and consistency

Disassembly

Decommissioning

Robots, fixtures, equipment and electrical systems are carefully decommissioned and removed from the cell

Packaging and Protection

All disassembled components are packaged with appropriate protective materials to prevent damage during transit

Outbound Shipping

AIG primarily works with a local shipping company but may also partner with brokers for larger or more complex shipments. The appropriate shipping method is selected for efficiency and cost- effectiveness

Insurance & Risk Mitigation

Every shipment is covered by specified insurance to protect against potential damage or loss

Pre-Installation Preparation

Prior to installation, all components are reviewed and verified against shipping documentation

Travel & Installation

AIG team travels to the customer's site, bringing the necessary tools and expertise to assemble and install the cell

System Testing & Training

A series of tests are conducted to verify proper operation. The customer receives hands-on training for system operation and maintenance

Custom control panels and power enclosures engineered and wired in house. PLCs, drives, power distribution, and distributed IO enable real-time data processing and optimized machine control.

Part holding fixtures and positioners engineered and assembled in house for durability and modular adaptability. Frames constructed from high-strength, lightweight materials to ensure maximum stability while advanced materials and coatings provide durable and reliable work holding.
